IT'S REALLY FUCKING METAL NEWS TODAY BOYS & GIRLS:
Well the stars (or maybe just 60 watt bulbs) aligned and I just happened to be in NYC at the same time Anthrax is recording the vocals for the new album. So yeah, about 10PM, Brent and his loyal Jew sidekick Jake headed off on the L train to the wonderfully gay (HAPPY) neighborhood of Chelsea to some studio Anthrax was in. Finally met Dan Nelson for the first time and all I can say is he's a mean, horrible, diva asshole who looks like the GEICO Caveman and sings like Danzig with strep throat. I kid; he's an amazingly cool guy with an awesome Strong Island accent and sings like John Bush on steroids while making love to Phil Anselmo coated in smooth awesome sauce. We talked hockey, drunken Anthrax moments while I ate Twizzlers and drank their beer. We watched Dan do some vocals on the song Devil You Know (I think, I wasn't really paying attn., too busy busting Rob's balls). Great chorus on that one. I also got to hear a further along mix of Fight 'Em Till You Can't. Still kinda lukewarm on that song but great solo on it, you guys shall dig. Also heard a song called Bleed, another BIG chorus. The highlight though was hearing an almost final mix of "New Noise". TWO WORDS - AWESOME! Sounded fucking unbelievably great, I was about to get up and mosh right there in the studio. Just unreal, you'll have it on repeat for at least 6 months. Just fucking perfect. After the listening party Scott, Izvor (the Croatian Bear Tamer/Mgr.) and Jake hit up one of our favorite bars - The Spotted Pig - WATCH HOW I ALMOST LIT SCOTT'S BEARD ON FIRE. Proceeded to eat Deviled Eggs that almost made me shit myself on site and drank rounds of Bitters (Thx Scott!) till fucking 4 AM. Oh metal, hard on my liver and blackens my soul and I do love it so. Till then WORSHIP MUSIC! (And Megan Fox)

PS - heard who's mixing the new record. It'll be the best sounding Anthrax record since... well ever to be honest. It's gonna feel like a big wet tongue in your ear it's so good.
