Formed in 2003 by former End It members, Writhing is a metal band whose only precedent is that the music be "heavy." Blast beats, acoustic passages and dark, thought-provoking lyrics all help to drive this concept home. The result is a unique style of metal firmly rooted in thrash and death with an emphasis on classic song structure.
